Why This Benefit Matters

Friends for Justice rescues and supports survivors of sexual abuse in Kenya, providing trauma-informed care, education sponsorships, and prevention programs that help children reclaim safety, dignity, and agency.

Due to a recent increase in university fees, Friends for Justice is facing an unexpected funding gap that directly impacts the education of the young women they support.

This benefit concert exists to help close that gap.

The I Am a Queen music video was created in collaboration with the non profits Friends for Justice and Many Hopes as an act of creative empowerment. Through music and expression, the girls were invited to reconnect with their voice, their worth, and their future.
